March 20 – Hebrews 13
LOOK: “Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” The author of the book of Hebrews concludes the book with some practical admonitions for believers to live upright and obedient lives. We are challenged to love one another, honor our leaders and keep our marriages strong.
LISTEN: The book of Hebrews is a great, logical case for Christ being the great high priest for us. We also are challenged to consider how we live our lives in light of the great sacrifice He made for us.
LEARN: I challenge you to live your life as a fitting example of the grace you have received. We do not earn our salvation and our actions, or lack of actions, do not affect God’s love for us. Our choice is to live our lives as a living sacrifice as a response to God’s great love.
